The Mini-D250 uses a Flex/Coil Power cord that plugs into your cigarette outlet.  You can mount the Mini-D250 to your windshield with Suction cup bracket (included) or to your dash with double sided Velcro tape (included).  The Mini-D250 is one of the smallest and lightest radar detectors on the market...you wont have any problem with it falling of your windshield as with other units, and it is very hard for the police to see due to its small size.
